Energy absorbing device for vehicle
专利摘要:
Shock absorber provided with pistons (3A, 3B) fluid-tightly and slidably connected to coupled fluid enclosing vessels (1A, 1B) which are connected through a narrowed channel (5), so that their end parts extend beyond the fluid enclosing vessels, and an intercepting valve (7) collapsible when a fluid pressure higher than a predetermined value is generated in the narrowed channel. 公开号:SU1055324A3 申请号:SU792807704 申请日:1979-08-20 公开日:1983-11-15 发明作者:Орима Хадзиме 申请人:Хадэиме Орима (Япони ); IPC主号:
专利说明:
The invention relates to energy absorbing devices, in particular to energy absorbing devices of vehicles, used to absorb or dampen shocks in the event of a vehicle colliding with an obstacle. The closest in technical essence and the achieved result to the proposed one is an energy absorbing device of transport media containing reservoirs filled with fluid medium, in which the pistons are located on its chassis; protruding from the reservoir with the outer ends in opposite directions in the initial position of the device lj. However, the known device does not provide sufficient passive safety of the vehicle due to the fact that the pistons cannot move interconnected. The purpose of the invention is to increase the passive safety of the vehicle. The goal is achieved by the fact that in the energy absorbing device of a vehicle containing tanks filled with current medium installed on its chassis, in which pistons protruding from the tanks with outer ends in opposite directions in the initial position of the device are located, the tanks are interconnected by a channel at the topoTOM A destructible shut-off valve is installed, the tanks being located symmetrically with respect to the indicated valve. In addition, for mounting the device on a vehicle, the front and rear linings of which are separated from the middle section of the body, the outer end of each of these pistons is rigidly connected with the corresponding lining. . FIG. 1 shows an energy absorbing device, a general view; in fig. 2 — device mounted on a vehicle; The energy absorbing device comprises two reservoirs 1 and 2 filled with non-flammable fluid, for example a liquid, gas or mixture thereof. The tanks, having respectively cylindrical sections 3 and, are interconnected by a channel 5, in which a broken shut-off valve 6 is installed. The latter is made in the form of a rubber membrane, or a diaphragm, which is destroyed under the action of a certain fluid pressure. In the cylindrical sections 3 and the reservoirs, the pistons 7 and 8 are installed, projecting with the outer ends in opposite directions. When installing an energy absorbing device on a vehicle, the front facing 9 and the rear facing 10 of which are separated from the middle body section 11, the outer ends of the pistons 7 and 8 are rigidly connected to the facing 9 and 10 respectively. When the secondary 9 or rear 10 facing the vehicle is hit The impact energy is transferred from the liner to the corresponding piston. The latter acts on the fluid filling the corresponding reservoir, causes an increase in its pressure acting on the valve 6. In the event that the pressure exceeds the carrying capacity of the valve 6, the latter collapses and the fluid flows into another reservoir, acting on its piston. At the same time, the latter is advanced by an amount equal to the magnitude by which the first piston is extended. As a result, the impact energy is absorbed, which is expended on valve failure and piston movement in the tanks. The proposed energy-absorbing device provides increased passive safety of the vehicle.
